HOWARD UNIVERSITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK
The 2nd annual Howard University (HU) Entrepreneurship Fest is a campus wide celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation at Howard University. This week features a variety of events which encourage, educates, and uplifts business ideation and ownership amongst students, faculty, and staff. This includes panel discussions with alum entrepreneurs, networking events, a business pitch competition, student entrepreneur pop-up shops, business skill building workshops, and much more! This series of events is a campus wide effort led by the Howard University Entrepreneurship Taskforce, a network of various departments, centers, faculty, staff, and student organizations. The inaugural HU Entrepreneurship Week in 2023, impacted over 600 students across a variety of programs, and this year will be even bigger and better!

The event will include a panel discussion on venture capital featuring Mosaic General Partnership’s Rudy Cline-Thomas and Andre Iguodala, moderated by Howard University alum and Collab Capital co-founder Jewel Burks Solomon.

HU Empower Business Pitch Competition

HU EMPOWER, the annual Howard University student business pitch competition, provides student entrepreneurs the opportunity to gain funding to scale their business ventures. This year’s competition will award a $20,000 grand prize, and over $50,000 in total funding to student entrepreneurs.
